Branding & Identity
A collection of branding and identity systems developed for a variety of clients over the years.
KYCC (Koreatown Youth + Community Center)
KYCC (Koreatown Youth and Community Center) was established in 1975 to support a growing youth population in Los Angeles. Today, KYCC is the leading multi-service organization in Koreatown, helping children and their families in education, health, housing, and finances. We believe if the family is healthy, our community will thrive. KYCC is committed to making Koreatown a safe and beautiful place to live and work.
Koreatown is the largest and most diverse neighborhood in Los Angeles. We’ve had the great pleasure of collaborating with KYCC’s Senior Communications Editor, Katherine Kim, to create the identity system inspired by its original logo and the windows of the opportunity it makes for Koreatown and Los Angeles as a whole.

Leon Cigars
In this case study, we brought a fresh take on the brand for a local family-owned establishment that's been serving the L.A. area for over a decade. Drawing inspiration from the traditional cigar-box aesthetic while marrying contemporary nuances and typographic form, we designed a bespoke wordmark and crown icon that would translate across various mediums to appeal to past and future aficionados.
